Leeanna & Paul {engaged!}

I got a call last month from my amazingly athletically talented (can I use that term?) friend Leeanna, telling me that she just got back from vacation with her wonderful and amazing boyfriend Paul and she was engaged!!! Goose bumps immediately jumped up on my arms and I did a little dance! I was so excited that someone had discovered that they HAD to snatch her up before she got away! This girl makes me so proud! She's got it all and Paul is one lucky guy! I don't think I know another female that loves sports as much as she does! We spent our Fridays playing softball and our Saturdays watching the Buckeyes when I lived in Columbus and she was always the girl to hang out with! Congratulations you guys! I am so happy for you both! Can you see how happy these two are!? YAY!

*pay special attention to the amazing heart shaped diamond that Paul picked especially for Lee. She may be all sports but she is all girl when it comes to pink and hearts...can't wait for the bubblegum fantasy that will be their wedding next year!!!! (great job Paul, you hooked a good girl and that ring is ever soooooo Leeanna!)

Get your kicks...on ROUTE 66! {photo journey}

Some of you may know that I am currently on the road exploring the US via Route 66 with my wonderful friend and fellow photographer Nicole Dixon. We left on Monday, June 8th bright and early in the morning from Columbus, OH and today....we are in Kingman, AZ 2 and half hours past Flagstaff, heading out for our last long drive into LA, California! We have made some wonderful images across the US and I thought I would share some of them with you before I get back and post the whole trip! Here is a little taste of our first few days! Indianapolis {sneak peek}

This past Friday I headed over to Indianapolis to photograph 6 month sessions for Sloane and Cyrus and another fun session with my friends Zoey and Lucy. Such a gorgeous day and such amazing little kids!!

Lucy and Zoey are just the sweetest things...matching petti skirts are the best!!! Enjoy these little cuties!

Schedule for 2009 {available sessions}

The rest of the year is going to be a busy and exciting time for myself and everyone around me. I will be traveling for clients weddings, getting married and taking a road trip to photograph for a book that one of my best friend's and photographer, Nicole Dixon and I would like to put together. It is important that we are all on the same page when it comes to scheduling so I have taken the liberty of publishing my schedule for the next few months. If you are in question at all please do not hesitate to call and we will see what we can do!

I will make special exceptions for Newborn sessions and Maternity Sessions as I can so please call in advance, and give me a heads up if you are concerned.

I can't wait to see this year in pictures...its going to be fabulous!!!! Please call now to make your appointments as these sessions will go fast! In the next week I will be narrowing down the full weeks/weekends of appointments to a limited availability. So get your session choice in now to be sure there will be sessions held the day you choose!

Jolynn & Tommy {sneak peek}

I had the pleasure of going home two weekends ago to photograph the wedding of a longtime classmate and friend at her beautiful wedding in Youngstown. The weather was absolutely perfect and so was everything about the day! Jolynn looked absolutely stunning in a dress that must have been made just for her! Every detail was just right and we had a great time catching up. I was friends with over half the bridal party so it was a wonderful day all around! Congratulations Jolynn and Tommy and best of luck! You two are absolutely gorgeous and so was your big day!
